Suddenly
Suddenly the fresh SouthEaster dropped, the sea mist began to descend and the humidity soared.
Immediately, sensing this change, I left the beach, walked up the road to the cottage, lit the braai and grabbed a cold beer.
Safety first.
But then it did this…
…which was nice.
Only me
I got an hour away from everyone and everything this afternoon.
Just me, my camera and the new Kodaline album, under magical skies and alongside crashing waves.
Bloody lovely.

What a weekend. Walks on the beach, braais in the evening, drinking, repairing a garden, climbing on the cottage roof, all carried out in wall-to-wall sunshine. Perhaps understandably, there’s not much left in the tank.
